Yes. Vedic astrology (Jyotish) uses the sidereal zodiac, accounting for the precession of the equinoxes. It also places great emphasis on the Moon, the 27 Nakshatras, planetary periods (Dashas), and divisional charts — none of which feature prominently in Western practice.
